Hybrid Hunts

A hybrid hunt is a flexible and practical option that combines the best elements of both guided and do-it-yourself (DIY) hunting. Simply put, part of your trip is fully guided, while the other part is DIY—giving you the freedom and experience you’re looking for, with professional support exactly where you need it.

Here are two common ways hunters enjoy a hybrid hunt:

Starting with guidance for confidence: Perhaps you’d love to do an independent hunt but aren’t sure where to begin or feel a bit concerned about safety in unfamiliar terrain. With a hybrid hunt, we can start your trip with a guided portion, our experienced team will show you the ropes about hunting your desired species, teach you the local knowledge and skills you need, and help build your confidence so you can then head out on your own for the DIY section—fully prepared and ready to succeed.

Finishing with guidance for success: Or maybe you want the satisfaction and adventure of a true DIY hunt, but you’d also like the peace of mind of heading home with a quality trophy. In this case, you can begin with your independent DIY hunt and finish the trip with a guided hunt on either public or private land. This ensures you have expert help when it matters most for locating and harvesting a great animal.

Hybrid hunts are ideal for hunters who want a balanced experience—enjoying the freedom of hunting on their own terms while having professional support and local expertise at key moments in the journey.

Hosted Hunts

A hosted hunt is a fantastic way to experience a high-quality hunting adventure with the freedom of a do-it-yourself (DIY) hunt, combined with the convenience and local support of a knowledgeable host.
