Having hunted abroad in other countries, I find reliability, professionalism and good friendship very important when hunting with a guide, which was exactly what I was met with from A to Z.
Right away we became good friends and had five fantastic days hunting in the most beautiful landscape. We got what we were looking for, and learned a lot about the fauna of New Zealand from Lucas's great knowledge.

“My first hunt in NZ was with Lucas and both my friend and I tagged out early on our Red Stags, which was fantastic. What truly set the experience apart, however, was Lucas’s skill and professionalism in seamlessly pivoting from our main objective to other exciting add on opportunities.
Some outfitters might call it a day once the primary goal is met, Lucas kept the momentum and adrenaline going strong. We moved straight into game bird hunting and both my friend and I harvested Black Swan, Mallards, and Paradise Shelducks.
He made sure the hunt stayed fun and action packed right to the end. I was genuinely impressed by how he turned what could have been an early finish and an easy slam dunk into a full, memorable adventure.
